Interested in getting outdoors, meeting new people and learning rural skills? Get involved in our exciting ecological restoration project and experience some of the great wildlife and landscapes that Highland Perthshire has to offer! Highland Perthshire Communities Land Trust (HPCLT) owns 1000 acres of hill land at Dun Coillich near Aberfeldy and is planting native trees in an effort to create a new Caledonian forest.
We run weekly work parties led by the HPCLT project officer doing: Tree planting | Wildlife surveys Fencing | Dry stane dyking | Woodland Management
When: Every Tuesday from 10am-4pm
Where: Meet at the ‘Hut’ by the HPCLT Dun Coillich Car Park. (On the B846 Aberfeldy to Kinloch Rannoch road just north of Glengoulandie)
Who: Work days are open to everyone - no experience necessary, full training will be given.
Please bring suitable outdoor clothing (i.e. waterproofs and sturdy footwear) and some lunch. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided.
