HPCLT's Articles of Association were written in 2002. Much has changed since then, including much Company and Charity Law. The opportunity has therefore been taken to update the Trust's Articles. The updated document can be viewed and downloaded here.
The philosophy of the Trust, as shown in its Charitable Purposes, has not changed although the wording is a little different. Account has been taken of changes to legislation. Membership categories have been simplified, as have Trustee retiral requirements.
2pm Saturday 24th March at Kynachan Hall, Tummel Bridge
Kynachan Hall is at the centre of the red circle. If coming from Aberfeldy turn right just before the electricity substation. If coming from Tummel Bridge turn left just after the electricity substation. At the track turnoff is a sign saying “take the third left for Kynachan Hall”.
The meeting is open to all. After the AGM there will be a talk by Dr David Hetherington, Ecology Adviser with the Cairngorms National Park Authority and a Trustee of the native forest restoration charity, Trees for Life.
Heather, our Project Officer, reports that it was a bit of a snowy start for our next intake of Rural Skills Trainees today. Great to have some new young faces on board. Looking forward to spending the next 20 weeks with this crew. Lots of learning and adventures ahead, just as soon as it stops snowing.....
